 I have to cancel a signing... HELP!

I have never done this before but I have to cancal one for later today. I really like this company and I feel so guilty about this.
My Son has a 105 fever with the H1N1 virus. The signing is 1.5 hours away and I cannot be that far from my son. Do I let them know that I am available for anything close to my home and my son can stay with my Husband?
Not sure how to go about this in the correct manor.
