(fairly obvious) she'd never be able to produce ID with that name. We notarize signatures, not ID's. A notary just has to be convinced that the person is who they say they are. If she was signing with the AKA & acknowledged the AKA that should have been enough. Anything else crosses the line into UPL, IMO. Again, never get advice from XYZ. All their info & "best practices" are based on CA law. |
