Re: Ink rubbing off poor toner fixing
Posted by Tasha/WI on 1/27/25 2:45pm

Toner supplier keeps sending toners from another batch (no charge) with maybe a subtle improvement but still rubs off. I've tried on two different printers and get the same results. Fusers have plenty of life left in them and both printers work well with the OEM toners. My test is rubbing with a paper towel with medium pressure across the printing, a bad result shows toner on the towel, a good result shows NO toner on the towel. Where there is large coverage areas of ink you can actually feel less drag on the towel over the ink on the good toners. I devised this test because of a really bad experience of toner coming off in my scanner.
