I know...and you are correct. If it weren't for my son right now, I'd have to refinance and really be hurting. Thankfully he's making enough to more than cover all the house expenses until I find something or this picks up. The last thing I wanted was to put him in that situation but have no choice. Next year I can be his dependent if things continue as they are.
Maybe you can try some dating sites and rectify that situation. Many singles out there are in the same boat and can perhaps find your other half to make life easier or in the least get some companionship. As they say misery loves company...plenty of pain out there to console each other.
IDK, it seems in life our mind is always back in the younger years of our 30-somethings, but the reality is we missed the boat in life for many things if we didn't get married, didn't land that lifetime career, start that 401K, buy the house and have it paid for by now. Looking back, lots of mistakes were made, and now we live with the consequences of them. It is what it is...still people worse off than what we have it, and have to try and make the best of it. |
