Re: Looking for a mentor in Washington state

Finding a mentor is likely to be extremely difficult. Not only is it time consuming for the would-be mentor, there's very little potential pay-back, so the incentive for another notary to mentor someone new - who may end up trying to compete with them - is next to nil.

However, you can learn tons on your own just by reading this forum. Using the orange Search button on the first page, search for Msg #630000. It's a jumping off point to lots of other information available right here for newbies wanting to get started. You can also use the search feature to find info on practically any topic you can think of. I strongly recommend new notaries get very familiar with how to use that and that they do so extensively.
