After getting stung by my first SS, I put my A/R cap at $500 for SS and $2000 for TCs.
Personal choice, mind you... I just decided that those amounts were within my comfort level to take a bite on if the SS or TC disappears overnight.
There are a couple of TC's that have no cap because I know I'll get paid. And it doesn't take many assignments at EOM from my favorite TCs to reach a $2K cap.
