On my Informed Delivery, I happened to notice this statement the other day in very small print at the very bottom of the email: "Mail may arrive several days after you receive the notification. Please allow up to a week for delivery before reporting missing mail."
I've never seen it take that long, but I have noticed mail arrive after it was supposed to, as well as some mail that arrived that wasn't shown on the Informed Delivery at all. Usually a check, naturally, so it sat in my mailbox for longer than it should have. Oh well... Given potential delays in areas affected by the storm(s), I guess a bit more patience may be required.
Hope you and your hubby (and anyone else in the path) haven't been impacted - and that you come through the next one on its way without harm, as well!
