I'm in FL and since no one has responded yet:
Here's from the ASN website regarding NC identification:
"Acceptable Forms of Identification- Personal knowledge Satisfactory evidence of identification: A current identification document issued by a federal, state, or tribal government that contains a photograph of the bearer, and either the signature or physical description of the bearer. The sworn statement of one credible witness who personally knows both the notary and signer."
I personally (and this is ONLY MY opinion) would not rely on a library card or credit card to establish identity. And I don't believe a Same Name Affidavit serves your purposes as a notary (again my opinion) - it's fine for the lender's purposes but does not satisfy identification guidelines. |
