Thanks Linda, I didn't understand that the notary has to arrange that and take that upon themselves to set it up.
I get it now. Seems like a lot of work and responsibility for the notary, especially if they have to pay for the office room.
I wonder if she put a false address in her journal as well?
Again, goes back to SS hiring people with experience and knowledge of these things. I'd like to know how much experience this notary had, or how many closings she did this way and never got caught.
Either way, this was unacceptable. Good thing is, nobody is probably losing much business anyway.
