Re: New Companies Are Formed to Take Newbie Notaries Money

I've taken a more suspicious stance towards some of these notary training programs. Especially after having done one that, while providing some useful information, in retrospect I can see was developed for the benefit of the creator. The reason I get that impression is that I can see that he is trying to train notaries to be willing to go far beyond what they should be doing for the benefit of signing services at the expense of the notary. I won't say which program it was, as to avoid disparaging anyone, but it's sad to see.

I am curious what notary training programs are that some of the long-time notaries might recommend? I am looking for ongoing education as a signing agent, but don't want to throw money away on another scam.
