The credible witness reasonably believes that the circumstances of the signer are such that it would be very difficult or impossible for the signer to obtain another form of identification;" After much discussion with the son about the situation, because of his mother's health and medical condition, he was going to attempt to hire medical transport to take her to DMV to renew yesterday. In the Sacramento metro area, temperatures reached 100 degrees yesterday. In my humble layperson's opinion, all of that was a very difficult procedure to put an already medically-challenged elderly woman. That was when I suggested the 2 credible witnesses. That signer is sharp as a tack and was very grateful to have been able to sign today. The son assured me she'll renew her ID immediately.
Oh, to answer your question -- yes, I did take my exam last year.
