 Re: Notary Conference
Posted by Margaret/Florida on 5/14/05 10:12am

I went last year and the last night is very formal. Bring a jacket/sweater as the meeting rooms are very cold. I would bring your laptop if you need to check your email. I have my own wireless laptop with t-mobile because when they said the hotel had Wireless Internet, it was only in the business office in the lobby and it was not free, it charged by the minute.

Also there were only a few (3-5) companies there last year and I had already signed up with all of them. Still have never gotten any work from any of those companies. I was real dissappointed and will never go to another NNA Conference. I have gotten more from attending property inspection trainings than I have with Notary conferences. I thought it would be a good opportunity to network, but that was not what I thought it would be either.
