He didn't have it with him, so I can't really say. (And I didn't try to quiz him, as I got the impression that it was a notary technicality he wasn't at all interested in.) It's possible the person who rejected it just made a mistake. Maybe they were used to seeing the California jurat wording that's mandatory for us CA notaries to use, because the provided verbiage seemed to be the usual I see these days for Florida certs, as you describe. I was more than happy to re-do it for him, though! |
