***We tend to be detailed people<experience and can be comfortable with just about every personality we encounter. It just drives me wild that notaries don't take a stand on their fees***
STAND ON THE FEES My 72 year old mother and her guy friend of 71 got it right off the bat. They drive to Houston, 60 - 70miles away going to take a friend or relative to the doc. Do that three times a week to go to take someone to treatments and you figure out what it costs to run miles up on a car on a FIXED retiree income..
For me to drive from my house 75 miles to La Grange , print docs and spend 3.5-4 hrs of time is never worth less than 200.00. Just out of curiosity during the storms when my mother was here, I asked them when I got a call on my voice mail. I told 'em when and where and asked them what they thought it was worth. Warren figured on it a minute then he said tell them $200. Exactly what I thought. ================================== Scheduler: Can we make it an even $150?
No. I am going 150 miles round trip. That's $90 in mileage approx which leaves $110 to print and do the job...$25 off for edocs...that leaves $85 which is exactuly right for a rev mort. Sooooo....where would you tell me to trim that down? Scheduler: No that's fine. ========================
Maybe there are retirees who are not able to adjust to a new mindset -- been an employee too long. Really try to see that if you do not put a plug in the dam with a few extra dollars you are really hurting everyone. We will let you guys have all the $35 jobs you want as it bottoms out.
