If the first & last name are longer than one letter, and the middle initial is there (when applicable) we are usually OK. Or, if the signature is longer than initials & is illegible we are OK. If I think the lender might call the signature a short signature, I send in a picture and have title or the lender give me approval. I find that big banks will take any kind of signatures, but mortgage companies & reverse mortgage lenders are more careful about the signature. |
