. . . sending notaries out to collect signatures, pay for the return shipping, and then not pay them for their services. I can't wait until you tell her broker what she is doing . . . theft of notarial services . . . with her real estate license. I hope you have a check in the mail soon. I had this happen to me once. I was hired to do a closing for a signing service and was having a very hard time collecting. Come to find out, the signing service was really a real estate agent farming out work she was getting from the local title company. Once I found this out, I called her broker and let him know what she was doing on the side and my check was put in the mail that very same day. |
