Unfortunately, they are. These targeted victims lose thousands of dollars every year and lose their homes on top of it. I was told years ago by the states I work in not to accept assignments where the companies are not licensed to do business there and that it is illegal for ANY of them to accept money upfront until they have paid off some of the clients debt. I posted many times in past. People don't listen.

If you read thru the complaints in the one I attached, it spells out exactly what these thieves are doing. Many of the people accepted getting only half of the amount back because they thought it was better than nothing. The Thieves still got away with scamming thousands from them. :-(

As I stated, this is only one of the many, many companies preying upon unsuspecting individuals that are desperate.
