Re: Why IPEN & not RON. Cuz signers hate the tech/scared.

That's wild. I think title companies offer it if they have dependable RON sources that give their signers a good experience, but lenders (except for a few who are embracing RON now) are still kind of standoffish.

I will no longer prep for a loan signing on RON without promise of being paid even if the lender decides no, because lenders are still not 100% on board.

My biz partner did a commercial refi last week (only 200 pgs) where the signers were in another country and they signed, but they have to re-sign the same documents by wet when they get back. New one to us.

Most of my online signers are between 25 - 60 and love it.

I have a few frequent flyers and I love those because we can sign a frequent flyer seller package in 10 min from start to finish, but there is prep-time to tag documents before hand. They are more than happy to pay a reasonable fee (on SS or CD) to get them online and signed up.

It's not ALL good for the notary but it's pretty much like signing in person as far as what's good, bad, and what makes you pull your hair out. It's work and I don't have to get out in the heat. Smile
