STAY AWAY from accepting their assignments. I have an invoice that is now over 60 days. At the last minute, the signer needed a witness. Since no one would answer the phone at XMTS, I contacted the title company. Along with a few other questions, the subject of the witness was discussed. Title agreed to pay $X amount of dollars for me to provide the witness which I subsequently added to my invoice. The rep from the title company said she was adding the additional $ to the order. XMTS was paid and deposited the check on January 8, 2026. They attempted to make a partial payment to me however I rejected the payment as it was not payment in full, much the same as they would not have accepted a partial signing. Its now February 25, 2026 and I'm still fighting to get payment. I have notified the title company regarding this situation. |
