dates and split signing -- is this going to be a problem?
Posted by  Linda_in_MI on 6/22/12 10:33am

Working part 2 of a split signing. Noticed that instructions list signing#1 was to take place on 6/20, and signing #2--my part--to take place 6/23. Not a problem with that. For the docs I notarize I'm going to include loose acks/jurats as dictated by the docs with the date I notarized. Received docs from notary #1 and the documents that require notarization have the date already filled in--and here is the kicker--the notarization that has been handled by notary #1 has a date of 6/25/2012.

Is this going to cause heartache from Title? BTW, this is investment property so no RTC. Should I alert signing service or Title that notary #1 may have screwed up with the dates?
