I scan at 200dpi as a pdf and do 45-50 pages max to a file which in my case is about 10MB in size. my ISP used to allow 12MB max but some incoming couldn't go that high. I haven't done this for at least two years so they may allow larger file now. I figure to be safe probably best to keep it 10 or less.
I then either upload to a website or email as attached, password protected file.
