Thanks for the great comments and advise. The daughter told me she is POA but the lender refused to allow her to sign as such. I did skip this one because of the potential problems. It wasn't worth the fee to possibly bring legal issues into my life. I'm sure there was a notary somewhere that didn't mind. The daughter hassled me and continually texted me applying pressure. That was enough of a red flag for me.
