Other considerations in different areas....

MD - TPL expenses --- including continuing education, $150,000 bond

SE Tax 10 notary acts in Cal $100 exempt from SE tax.
10 notary acts in MD $20 exempt from SE tax. 15% of $80 = $12 more taxes.
