I agree that the article reads like a press release/promo piece from LSS, and it might well be.
I realize that the people who write headlines are often not the same people who write the articles, but whoever is responsible for the headline either intended to mislead or doesn't understand the difference between 'revenue' (what the $500K referred to) and 'earnings'. They also probably don't understand how our business works, as a major chunk of that revenue, assuming a reputable operator, gets paid back out to the notary who handles the signing. Plus, there's other overhead and business operating expenses that come out of that. So that $500K is NOT what that guy 'makes'.
'Course, we all know that - I hope! But it's sad that so many might potentially be mislead by those statements. Tells us a lot about how seriously to take other recommendations from Entrepreneur...
