I have ties to 1clickregistry and I would like you to take a look at your statement Martha.
Without using the system, you bash it because of a fee amount. If you do not see a value, great, but it's not outragious. I think that even BrendaTx stated the benefit something like this would be in a message once here on NotRot. Are you saying her opinion would be referred to as outragious or even a bad opinion?
I would like to say that this resource was to give the new NSA the oportunity to start working faster and not be discouraged by the numerous companies they have to sign up with to get work. Some have worked hard to learn to do signings and maybe put themselves into a better situation or whatever reason they have used to decide to make money being a signing agent and it would be of value to them. I would like the industry to have the "smart" NSA's out there helping me out with overflow because I seem to see & hear about more and more "repair" jobs around from the NSA that gives a crap about what they are doing.
NSA's that have done this a long time might not deem it a value since if you have done this for years, I would hope you had built a solid base of business relationships that you shouldn't be signing up with many companies at all. Your work should be coming from referrals.
But to recoomend not using it? To me that sounds more like fear.
"Don't use it people".... because in your head you're thinking that then their name is getting to some of the same companies you probably work for and that would mean competition.
No notary has to worry about their income if they are doing a great job. Because this is not an industry that likes taking risks on if a set of documents are done wrong since it can mean hundreads and thousands of dollars to fix where they all want to jump to the newbies for them to do their jobs.
Ever thought about why the title companies pay more than the "other" companies? They want experience. Ever notice that the $35, $40, $50 fees are being offered by the NON-title companies and thus NOT getting the professional NSA for that amount?
So, making a responsible statement, I would say that everyone should do what THEY want. Don't bash something you have no experience in, don't speak before you can feel good about standing up for what you do say, don't judge unless you've been in that persons shoes (which from what my grandmother had once told me was is this "you should never judge because you CAN'T be in someone elses shoes because you are not that person, don't have their history to base your actions of feelings on for how they might react and don't have to live with their choices or know what their choices might even be."
It's just my opinion here, but I can say that I don't think that anyone not involved has anything to say when it would be between ldd6002 and 1clickregistry.
I feel Russ had full right to defend his company when someone is throwing things around and even acknowledging that they had no time to research their claims. I do not see Glenn having a web hosting/designing/internet payment company like Authorize.net or Paypal, to be able to comment. Or how exactly I could find the IP being registered through AZ but he could not.
Glenn bashed a company that had it's site designed by Russ and they do work that is superior to most companies out there doing the same thing. You would be pissed if you were accused just the same. And to spout off about picking the wrong forum to slam a notary...I think that was unprofessional. The way notaries seem to think that bashing companies is okay but companies can't defend themselves is outragious. The notary can make snide remarks about a company or even a newbie, but when a company makes a snide remark it a different standard? Sorry I won't participate in that.
just my thoughts.
I haven't been here for awhile because I was working, doing other things and wanted a break from the high-school antics that happen here and to be here for the first time in more than 2 weeks, maybe even 3 weeks....to see this off the bat....it doesn't put the "missing the forum" anywhere inside me. |
