If any notaries ever do need to "back out" of a closing the problem with e-mail and even VM is it is not a general message center, is that if the person you are sending it to is not there or has left for the day no one will know you sent the e-mail until its too late.
A lot of times there is more than one shift at the signing service and you may e-mail the person whom was working in the morning but has left for the day. The best thing to do when accepting a closing is to make sure to get an afterhours number so you can reach someone, if they don't answer the afterhours number then that is their fault and there is not much else you can do. |
