Okay , just got back from a signing.
The reason I have abeen avoiding RMs is because I am very sensitive to senior citizens, and even with my regular signings when the borrowers are senior citizens , they take longer, I chat with them ( hard for me to tell them okay, let's hurry up because they want to chat, I stay for the tours of the house they want to give me and stay for the cookies, cry at their stories, and am patient with their frustrations.
As far as the knowledge of RM, I don't have it yet. I will follow the link that Charm and Dogmongoer sent me once, and study the dummy docs another person emailed me and I'll research here for further information. If anyone else has advice, suggestions of where else I can find the info that I need to serve the borrowers better I welcome it.
I lost a client that would pay me really well for overnight docs in my town because he thought I gave too much info to the non English speaking/reading borrowers ( and all I was doing was stating facts) these were interest only loans, so I do care about the borrowers. I remember not beign familiar with them and PAW posted a link to a site and I educated myself on them a bit more.
That is why I accepted this signing, it's giving me the opportunity to be at an orientation, haven't had that offer before, by Tuesday afternoon I'll know if I received education or not. |
