When I received the call I asked if it had to be Sunday, she said it was set for Sunday 2pm but it could take place this weekend, that was over the phone that is why I gave a short follow up email saying I had spoken with the borrower. I also don't didn't document when I had left a message on her phone because the docs were not arriving after I had tracked them down and they had been delivered to the wrong address.
She also said she didn't receive a message. I checked my email and I do have the two that I sent under the "sent" box but I don't really know how to prove that I did send them out. In the chat room I had just commented that it was nice that I had finally had a signing in which there were absolutely no problems whatsoever and I didn't even think it was necesseary to keep the " Okay , thanks" email as proof of anythin in the future. My mistake.
A previous thread comes to mind , don't recall the # regarding the signings of docs with future dates, that is why I asked for input I don't want to make this mistake again in the future but I also want to know what to say on my behalf. I usually handle my situations well, but this one...well? Should I have had all dates changed and initialed? I thought at the time that the signature and date lines was fine and the RTC but not the note, deed and the other docs.
I also said that I would like to talk with title, but they said that it was not up to title but to the lender.
BTW how long does it take to redraw docs? I didn't apologize but did say I would do the signing again, with the current date. Should I have apologize to them? to the borrowers?
