I can honestly say that there is no correlation here in San Antonio with closings and time of year... I have been in this business since May, 2003 and there were several months that I barely had a chance to sit down, often closing 10+ loans each day for entire months... I went a couple of months with almost nothing and now I can barely sit down once again, but in a different time period than least year...

This industry is so cyclical there is simply no way to truly predict. Mortgage rates did take a slight dip recently and there is a report that mortgage applications went up slightly in the past month. That includes new purchase mortgages too...
