| Part of our application for visas for australia is a statement that my husband (the sponsor) has written stating how he will provide for me financially. This statement must be notarized. I'm not exactly clear what having this notarized accomplishes. Is it just saying that the notary is confirming that my husband is the one who wrote the statement? I know I can't notarize the document but for the notary who does, is it an acknowledgement or jurat? |
