Hello, i guess the question for you is not, why should i, it is why am i being difficult in helping the company out with doing some research and doing what needs to get done so i can get paid. i have done hundreds of closings for Closed for You, and NEVER and i mean NEVER have i had a problem getting paid, i go the extra mile and so do they, the quantity of work that i do get from them totally outways the occasional cost of doing business and maybe spending a couple extra dollars to fix a problem. maybe go ahead and pay the stop payment fee and then get your check and dont complain about it. i understand where u are coming from, there are ALOT of companies out there that screw you over, and wont pay and wont communicate with you, I GET IT, i have been doing this for over 10 years, i have closed over 20, 000 loans, i work for 120 different companies all over the country, it would kill my reputation to not go the extra mile and do some things that sometimes i dont want to do, tomake sure it all gets done and i comply occassionaly to the signing companies request,( as foolish as they may sound), you might ask them that the next time you do a closing for them that might be a little bit of a drive for you, that maybe you request an extra 10 bucks or 20 bucks and that will help make up what u spent on the stop payment fee. this is a CRAZY biz, roll with the punches, or they will roll over you, GOD BLESS |
