However, when I hand them to the borrowers, I always tell them that the pens crossed the Mississippi with my great-grandmother in a Conestoga wagon and are family heirlooms, and that I WILL be repossessing them after the signing. They get a chuckle, and I always get my pens back. If it is a client who looks like he might be able to send me some business, I will give him a really nice silver company pen. |
