A self-check before spending good money on marketing.

Over the many years some of us have been at this, we've seen lots of different approaches used to convince us that someone has a great way to get us more business, just pay them $XXX or whatever... The situation described here is a classic example of how something can look and sound great, but do us no good if no one sees it. Same applies for online directories.

As we've learned, what makes the most sense when deciding how to use our marketing money, is to put ourselves in the shoes of our ideal customer and ask ourselves how they'd go about trying to find someone who offers the services we do. That's where you want to put your money.
