Ca Signing Agents and SB 5
Posted by  rengel/CA of CA on 11/30/19 9:43pm Msg #613036
I don't remember seeing this on the forum yet. How are CA signing agents going to handle this new legislation regarding independent contractors? Are we going to have to become employees of each of the signing services and title companies that hire us? Are we each going to have to incorporate? Are we going to get an exemption?

This is going to be very interesting to see how it plays out. I'm just glad that loan signings are not the main focus of my business anymore.
