I contacted Soc. Sec. regarding difficulties with creating an account on their website, and they recommended that I sign-up with ID.me, to verify my identity in order to assist in getting an online soc. sec. account.
I have not heard of ID.me before. I'm thinking of two things: 1) Is it legit and secure? Does anyone have experience in that regard? 2) How does or could this effect Notaries ?
