I walk up to the front door, stand six feet away from the opening, wearing a cheetah print mask that matches my scarf and my flats, black coat, and black nitrile gloves. I am a sight to behold. Most borrowers are masked already masked, others say "hold on, let us get our masks too."
I'm also calling half hour before the signing to remind them I'm coming, to have their licenses ready so I don't have to handle them.
I haven't had anyone resist wearing a mask so far. I signed an anesthesiologist recently who was not wearing a mask when he met me at my car on the street, so I handed him one of my paper masks.
Good for you, Leslie. Keep up the fight. |
