I go way back to the early days. In those days, it was a special status thing, per se, to have that little orange box next to our name because so few had one. We got special treatment — I think I, as well as others, got 3 boxes of biz cards absolutely free. Two times they were testing different printers for the best quality product and wanted our feedback. We’d get immediate response if we’d done something to cross the line, or if we had initially contacted them.
I no longer sign, but I dropped my paid membership a few years before I gave up my “loan signing” stamp because I no longer felt the status or special treatment. |
