What does being a paying member have to do with anything? Being a paid member still wouldn't divulge that information to you on how long she is commissioned for. That's the choice of the notary to present or not on their profile. She said it as she did, it's her choice. I am not agreeing or disagreeing with that, but merely pointing out she has an opinion and spoke it.
My opinion is that 2nd paragraph was uncalled for. That was an untrue statement. They make credible witnesses for a reason and do not break any laws if used correctly and what she felt comfortable doing. It's her judgment to make with the lender, and doesn't effect any of the rest of us.
Paid member privilege must urk people who pay because some (not all) like to point that out to those who don't and their opinion somehow will fall short of the self elitist group of paid members. Being a paid member makes you no more or worse than unpaid members. It just means you paid a fee to get a discount on supplies and an orange box by your post name. jmo
