Ok, so i've been commissioned for over 5 years. Some of it in CA, now in IL - although i'm in Southern IL and nowhere near Chicago!. I've had some LSA work, but of late, rather low-ball offers, eg. $40 to travel over an hour one way and print 175 pages. I said 'no' to that one, but i'm trying to make this my full time business. Sometimes its discouraging as I assume the signings go to other local notaries since they don't get assigned to me. So i've come here to express my concerns, but also find out what everyone else is doing. TIA (thanks in advance)  |
