Hello fellow notaries. I have posted a couple times about this company--Great Lakes Settlement and Closing--and now have two outstanding invoices from over months ago.
I just sent a collection letter--basically a demand letter for payment with threats of reporting this company to BBB and Ohio state attorney general, etc. They are basically committing fraud and as notaries, it is our sworn duty to report fraud.
So, I have seen other notaries reporting completing assignments only to wait months to get paid--if at all!
So, any other notaries that would like to help me, please send a reply here and I will give you my personal email and then send you the link to the Cleveland BBB so that you can flood the inbox with messages about how wonderful this company is to reside in their city and state.
I am also serious about reaching out to the state attorney general in OH, so let me know if you would like to piggyback on that complaint as well.
