I agree that sometimes you get a decent fee, but in my case anyway, it's the exception rather than the rule. I have become more selective in what I'll accept from what company. Often, I'll look at an offer and quickly assess that it's "just not worth it". Unless you get them on the phone, and can verbally negotiate, it's tough to "name your price" these days. I still have companies that will call or text me directly, rather than a blast offer. In those cases, negotiation is possible. |
