Jurat/Acknowledgment ... doesn't matter. Government Code 8207 is titled SEAL: "A notary public shall provide and keep an official seal, <<which shall clearly show>>, when embossed, stamped, impressed or affixed to a document, the name of the notary, the State Seal, the words “Notary Public,” and the name of the county wherein the bond and oath of office are filed, and the date the notary public’s commission expires." (<<>> added by me for emphasis) If you're placing your notary seal over wording in any document, imo, that impression does not clearly show all the required elements.
So, if the receiving agency is willing to accept a notarization that goes against Government Code, does that make it okay?
again, jmo
