That's a hefty fee!

Agree with Linda up to a point. It could be that OP's signers are paying for other party's fees (in the case of sale/purchase). Linda is correct that California notaries are not allowed to perform RON so hopefully that particular line item did not apply for OP's services. If it did, then definitely contest it.

Expeditor, care to give us a little more info on the matter?
