Closing a loan involving a living trust
Posted by Anonymous of CA on 4/21/04 12:19pm Msg #1585
I am a fairly new notary and have a loan closing to do that involves a couple who have a living trust. On the deed document, there is a line for each of them to sign and another line for each of them to signed labeled "Trustee". There is also a space to print witness names, but no signature lines. Since they are signing as a trustee for themselves, do I have to have witnesses?
