Yea, after getting the new tire on my car, I did go back and take photos - closeups showing the rebar and wood forms up tight to the blacktop, long distance shots showing the road from both directions, across the road shots showing the driveways and their relative closeness to the blind rise in the road. I'll call the adjustor on Monday morning and get him to meet with me on Tuesday when he's in this area so he can look at my car and also see the accident site. Tony, I had always thought that a turning motor vehicle that causes an accident, even though only one vehicle had damage, had some cupability, but that officer sure didn't say that to me or to the other party. I'll wait and see what the adjustor says, and then talk with the officer's superiors if it is warranted. Since there was no physical injury, and since the major damage was a blown tire and some surface scratches on the side in front of the wheel well, with a probable maximum cost to replace/fix of $300 - $400 or thereabouts, I doubt very much any attorney would be interested.
