I'm with you. I can't remember ever having to pack up my bags and leave, unless it was with a borrower who was speaking with his LO and decided not to sign. I can, however, remember several situations where the BOs started off irate and we ended up leaving on a positive note.
I had one where the husband was so rude when I first arrived that I literally asked him if I should step out and come back in again so we could start over! I said it sincerely, not nastily, as I was stunned at the way he had acted. I think that was the last thing he was expecting me to say (surprised myself, too!) Apparently it got his attention and he realized how he was acting. Not only did we complete the signing, he gave me a big bag of lemons from their backyard tree to take home with me... Go figure. |
