With my current scanner I can scan to a file then, when all copies are scanned, fax or email that file. If I scan to a file first, I will have a copy in case the company says I am missing a document when they get the package & I only have to baby sit the documents once as they go through the auto- feed apparatus (where jams & mis-feeds can happen, esp. with my Brother MFC). This will save me a step or two, but I could be mistaken in my addition.
And most of the companies that I work for that want 'fax backs' will not accept an emailed attachment.
& , while I am wanting a decent (& inexpensive) fax/scan machine that will replace my Brother, mostly I would like to know if/when NR is going to actually implement the out-going fax service that was last mentioned in May, 2012, about 5 months ago. I am anxious to get rid of my land-line telephone service & not anxious to sign-up with the fax services I see on the internet. |
