Friday night.....not the cleanest of houses or people, but, it's work. One signer kept saying, "I'm having a panic attack. We have to get these documents signed." She had lost her contact lens at the table. At one point two of the signers were down on the dirty carpet looking for her contact lens. All the while she's screaming, "I'm having a panic attack". She finds the contact lens on the carpet, picks it up, spits on it, and plops it back in her eye. Signing chugs along and we finish.
Saturday morning....bright and early 9:30 in Hemet. 1 1/2 hour drive one way for me. The fee is good. Hoarder house. And, the lady doesn't believe in turning the furnace on. It was 43 degrees outside. I felt like a popsicle.
Monday night....I'm the tail end of a split signing. Out of state notary really botched it with the docs. At one point the docs were lost. I finally get them. Good news was that now husband is no longer out of state and the issues that the first notary botched, I can see get completed and done correctly, and sign the wife up.
Tuesday....EO and lender said I could accept old expired driver's license and paper extension. Borr had lost her driver's license. The borr ( a former notary ) said, No, you can't do that. I said, No, you can't do that. God Bless NNA and SOS, as they both said, No, you can't accept that. Borr wanted to go with credible witnesses.
Wednesday....6 signers. Five could sign at the office. One I had to go to the house to sign. Why she couldn't come to the office was beyond me. They paid an extra trip charge. But, really? And, dogs. One dog was at the office signing jumping from one signer's lap to another. The dog at the house was snarling and growling at me until I refused to come in until they put the dog outside.
I'm hoping Thursday shapes up a little bit better...... |
