| When I worked in title, we never had an individual with individual credit sign that paragraph. When I left title and became an NSA, the rule was that they wanted it signed by individual buyers. When I inquired, I was told that there were additional requirements in the paragraph other than joint credit which required the signature. I never got an adequate explanation of what the requirements were so I just complied. My solution was to have a copy signed and/or initialed. In case it wasn't required they could accept a blank copy of the page and if it was I had the signed page in reserve so I wouldn't have to do a re-sign on it. |
