Several thoughts: 1. if they say you didn't return all the pages, they are going to say it no matter if you counted the pages or not. 'Knowing' for yourself that you are right isn't going to sway them. 5. I would never do this. If I were that doubtful as to someone's identity I wouldn't notarize for them. I personally would also never allow a notary to take my photo for id purposes. 8. I saw a notice from Chase one time that said notaries were not allowed to take thumb prints unless required by law. Again, I personally would never give a thumb print. 9. Good idea - but how do we get someone to answer those numbers ? (need a smiley here) 10. Wrong. You have signed and initialed per your instructions. You do not willy-nilly have borrowers initial pages where there is no initial line, unless you are instructed to do so. Why don't you have them sign up along the side margins? Why don't you have them thumb print beside their signatures? You do as instructed. (not 'you' Art but 'you' generally) |
